Thanks to an awesome idea from DrewsUSAgirl in this thread: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=72650.0  I have decided to make some V-Day chocolates for my fiance with Ikea ice cube trays (x, o and heart shaped).

Any suggestions on add-ins to put (other than nuts), so it's not just plain chocolate?  I was thinking along the lines of liqueurs, but I'm afraid the chocolate won't set properly.  I kind of want the chocolates to be hard and shiny.  Would any kind of flavoring work?

Thanks everyone!! Smiley

dried fruit that has been chopped up is very yummy (especially dried cherries) coconut, either soft or toasted,
my friend really likes candied ginger in her chocolate, it's kind of spicy.  If you add regular flavorings that you can buy at the grocery store you will end up with a mess.  As far as I know the only flavorings you can add to chocolate have to be especially for chocolate.  If you have a cake or candy supply store by you they would carry them.  Liqour can be added but it can be tricky especially for first timers.
