Hi All,

Here's the sign up thread for the UK Instant Swap, as discussed in this thread: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=63347.0

The purpose of this swap is to craft an item for your partner in a short time frame.  It has to be something you can do to a high standard over a weekend, as partners will be posted on a Tuesday, with send outs on the following Tuesday.

It's quite a long questionnaire, as we felt that we'd need a lot of info for a short crafting period.

Organisation Notes:

Signups close on the 12th, and I will be sending out partners on the 14th, with sendouts on the 21st - that gives you a week to craft!

This is how I will be doing any feedback:

In Progress Feedback:
New Swappers - 'In Progress' feedback entered when info recieved.
Existing Swappers - 'In Progress' feedback entered when signups have closed

Sendout Feedback:
Feedback changed to Positive when partner recieves
Negative Feedback left if not sent out by 28/02/06 (1 week from deadline) and no communication has been made.

I will use the following feedback comments:
Late - if sent out after the 1 weeks grace period (without reasons)
Poor communication - if sent late and did not communicate with reciever/organiser
I will also leave comments such as fast sender, good communicator etc

Hi

I really wanted to join this and participate in my first Craftster swap (and I said I'd be up for it when the idea was first up) - then I started knitting the jumper from hell - its my boyf's birthday soon and he wants a cricket jumper (!!!) for the new cricket season. I only re-taught myself to knit in November so you can imagine its quite tricky (IT HAS CABLE) argh so far I have x1 sleeve and back completed and time is running out! I can't start anything else until this is done - I'm  bit weird like that only one project on the go at a time.

So long and short of it is I will have to pass but if there is another in the summer I will be up for it.
