I bought the cross in New Mexico in November. Then I painted the inside & the bottle caps. I made the skulls from polymer clay & painted them...grab some glue and slap 'em all together. Its basically a box with a glass cover...I have it hanging in my Day of the Dead room...

I have to be honest, I just love this damn thing. The colors are just so excellent!  Shocked

That looks really great!  Using the bottle caps was an inspiration too.

I like DOD stuff myself... you have a whole room of DOD???

If I haven't mentioned it to you before (brain like a seive), you might get also some inspiration from these skulls and skeleton ladies made by a member of my polymer guild:

(more DOD stuff on this page too, if anyone's interested:

I've spent quite a bit of time prowling around on glassattic, but haven't seen that first link before...those are excellent!

My "craft" room is pretty much all DotD...There is a thread with pics around here someplace. I'll see if I can find it. I also had a DotD wedding. Our cake topper was made by CraftyChicaAZ. There is a thread with pics of that as well!
