Alrighty, so I had some jeans that said "give love" down the side but I never really liked the way they fit.  So I cut them apart from the knee down and decided to use them and some really big t-shirts that I had and make a skirt out of it.  It's rather sloppy but I still like it.

*NOTE* Please excuse the extreme clutter and the insufferable diva poses.

wow this post has given me an idea!  I had done the typical jeans to skirt recon, (Top of the jeans + material at the bottom)  and now I am left with two legs of denim! I think I might try something like this.  Thanks.

Did you use a zipper to close the skirt?  Or how is it staying up?

I'm a lazy bum, so I din't use any kind of fastener to hold it up, I just made the band small enough so that it would stay up.  And it helps that they were stretch jeans.
