woohoo!  i finally tackled something with cables!  now that i've done it, i'm not sure why i was so afraid of them.  they're not bad at all!  Wink

So Cute!  I love the sweater.  The cable looks really good, I like how it goes up the hood.  Did you adapt a pattern or did you get it from somewhere?

wow, quick reply!  thanks!!  the pattern for the sweater was from a book by better homes & gardens called 'knitting year-round".   the name of the pattern was 'kisses & hugs', hence the xoxox cable pattern.   Cheesy

wow I really like those, especially the purple booties.......did you use a pattern?

thanks ladies!

curlygirl, i had a pattern for the pink booties, which i then modified to make the purple ones.  it was in one of those small pattern books they have at all the craft stores.

thanks!  i checked the book and the largest size is 12-18 months, with a chest measurement of 27" and a length of 12".  hope this helps!  Smiley
