Cute bag!

I'd be willing to do a knitalong.  Smiley

I have almost a full skein of 220 left from a pair of socks I just made for my husband, and I think it would be enough for this bag.

I am so tired, I can barely sit up in this chair! I am off to bed. Necia, girl you must have yarn in your stash that would suit this. Yarn you want to get rid of...

You must join me in my quest.

Hmmm... that looks like fun!
I could use a new bible cover, so I might have to stop off at the yarn shop on the way home  Wink

I'm in.  I have 6 skeins of Peaches & Cream at home, that were spose to be dishcloths, but I've been uninspired to make them as such.  1 will get delegated as a purse.  I sure hope it's enough yardage, as I have 6 different colors.  How important is gauge on this pattern?

Hello. I would love to join you, this bag is so cute! The pattern says you can substitute Noro Cash Iroha, so do you think I could make this with one skein or should I buy two?

According to the pattern you will need roughly 120y of yarn.  However, you have to take into consideration the gauge (at least I believe so).  So is the noro gauge similar to the one in the pattern, and what's the yardage?

Noro gauge is the same as the pattern, but I believe you might need two... because it is only 99 yds. Maybe you should pm the designer... she stops around here, her name is prunille -if you can get away with that amount or if you need the full 120 yds.

I think gauge is relatively important usually, but its a purse, so maybe  it doesn't matter too much- if its waaay off, be careful. But a little off probably doesn't matter.

Ok I'm about finished with the 1st part of the body, row 21 I believe.  Oh I hate working with Peaches & Cream, but it looks cute so far.  I like the pattern because I'm becoming familiar with yo's and slip stitches.  So far so good.
