Can anyone show me a pattern for an easy knitting needle roll that has a spot for circulars too?  I'm new to sewing so I'm looking for something simple.

Try this:

***edited***  For circulars, I would make a flap that covers the circulars and use stick-on velcro to make a closure.  Hope this helps!

I just finished a placemat one.  I kinda made it up, but similar to the htgv one.  You can make the pockets whatever size you want, so try making a large one should hold circular needles.

A bit of info:

I have made several using the pattern out of the first Stich & Bitch book. It works great and Ive changed the pattern around to work for circulars also.
