Ummm...yeah, so I'm sitting around waiting for my mom to take me to the dentist and I was getting bored.  So I whipped ("whipped" is a relative term, here)out some gel/paint markers and start decorating my (dulling) light blue converse.  And these pics are what I came up with on the left shoe (haven't gotten to the right, yet.)

These are the shoes before I paint markered (yes, I totally verbed it...and I also verbed "verb") them and after I took the shoelaces out.

This is the part of the shoes that faces out.

This is the part of the shoes that faces inside.

And this is a close-up of what I put on the back.  Forgive me, but it's a little bit blurry from being an extreme close-up.

I'm especially proud of the outside because...I don't know why.  Just because.  I s'pose I just like the way it looks.

*UPDATE*
YAY!  Here are the pictures for the right shoe:

There's the outside, which didn't turn out too well.  I was originally going to have the "ohm" chracter on there, but I forgot and just put "Groovy."

There's the back detail, and yes, I am obsessed with the phrase "Give love."

And here's my personal favorite, the inside.  I attempted to make it look lava lamp-ish.  I don't think you can tell very well here, but there's actually some skilled (ha...) shading on the sides closest to the bottom of the shoe.

Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat, it's not your fault.
They won't take you to the vet,
You're probably not their favorite pet.
You may not be a bed of roses
And you're no friend to those with noses

Thank you all so much.  To melikeketchup, I'm not sure, but I try not to wear my chucks in the rain anyway, because my feet always get soaked.  to Twisted-Angel, yeah, I had a pair of knock-off, too, but when i saw high-tops for $14.99 I couldn't resist.
