Yes.  Put glue in the middle on the front of the picture.  Then you put the stone on the glue and press together so they'll stick.  You're basically gluing the picture to the bottom of the stone, so when you look at the tack you'lll see the picture through the stone.  Okay, then trim any excess picture showing (like that sticks out from under the stone) and then use super glue or a strong glue and glue the tack to the bottom.

thank you so much, I bought suplies (God walmart is an annoying store, they were in the fish deparment.) I am very excited to try this. SO what kinda glue to you use on top? does rubber cement work?

I don't know if I'd use rubber cement, because it can peel off.  But basically any kind of glue that dries clear.  Elmer's glue, super glue...whatever you've got.

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection
