How do you make the tacks? I love rent, missed the swap but would LOVE to recreate the tacks for my room.

Here is the stuff that I recieved the jewelry is kinda hard to see, but it is beaded AIDS ribbon. The box has the quote "you earned this on the Street?". There is a pink fuzzy bracelet/wrist cuff. Thanks for the groovy stuff. There is a purple folder that is not in the picture with the rent logo on it.

Are you talking about the tacks I made for RedStar?

Yea there so neat looking.

Basically, you just find a picture that fits the size stone you have.  Then put a very small dab of clear glue (I use E-3000) in the center of each picture.  Press the middle of the stone directly over the glue and push down to get all of the air bubbles out.  Let it dry and then trim and excess paper on the picture.  Then, put a small dab of strong glue (I use Gorilla Glue) and adhere the tack to the back.  Make sure to let dry thoroughly.

They are actually really simple to make and tons of fun!

If you haven't made marble magnets, you're missing out!
They are really cool and a fun and cheap gift.
I use rubber cement, but here lately the pictures won't stick to the stones. I think it's because my rubber cement is old.
