I made my long distance boyfriend a CD that reminds me of him, but I wanted him to hear the lyrics that made me think of him, so I copied the lyrics and mod-podged them into a track listing on the outside cover.  It's just a simple CD case made from a strip of an airborne express cardboard envelope that I turned inside-out and folded twice.  I folded over one side and hot-glued the top and bottom edge of the brown part to hold the CD and glued paper over the part that still said "Airb.."  Then I just folded the other flap on top as the cover.

Inside (I had been practicing a fancy J for his name for a letter I wrote him for this project: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=77158.0

Outside.  Mmmm glossy mod podge.

Ta da!

Then he asked,"Lord, what about when there was one set of footprints on one side and also a straight line with bootprints on one side and small round circles on the other?" The Lord replied, "Those were when I carried you, and we were joined by a pirate pushing a wheelbarrow."

Very cool!  I love when people spend time on the presentation of a mix cd and do packaging.

I think it served it's purpose well, because, as he listened to the CD, he scanned the case and told me it felt tlike the songwriters had lived in his head for a few months.  Mission accomplished.
