Understated Retro Pocketbook

So, I signed up for a swatch club (kickass, everyone should), and part of the swatches they sent me were huge upholstery swatches.  PRETTY upholstery no less...so, since I've been doing other people's wants this weekend (or, it's horrid sewing for money ) I decided my last project would be just for me.

Whee!!!




The shine from the flash on this last picture is a little decieving, that's solid green taffeta for the lining, it's a cool deep olive green.  The dark portions of it are as close as my camera got to capturing the color

Pretty great for a couple of swatches that cost less than a penny apiece

Oh man, I am soooo envious of that fabric!  I adore retro style fabric and I adore clutches!!  Once again you have done a fabulous job!!

It's really cheap.  They send you an envelope STUFFED with swatches.  I haven't figured out if I have the patience to patch together the fashion fabrics and dancewear stuff, nice as it is.  The upholostery stuff is good sized, and they send you alot from each program, if you sign up for all of them.

I have a question about the swatches, how big are they like roughly size of paper or 4x4 or what?  I know it depends on the program you get.
