I made this pillow for my boyfriend. He's a huge Transformer fan.

Great Job! I think that the character Eric from Dungeons and Dragons or Danger Mouse would also make a nice pillow. Might be difficult though.

What kind of paint did you use? Plain old acrylic, the acrylic paint/fabric medium mixture, fabric paint...?

Thanks for the kind words.

Coffee Bean, I used plain old acrylic paint. No fabric medium or anything.

The fabric isn't sparkly. It just really likes lint. It's a linty fabric. I usually use it to line purses, because it's pretty crappy as an outside fabric, due to the lint issue.

The stencil is a picture I found at stencilrevolution.com. I justifed biting the stencil since it is a product of another picture and not original art. I printed the picture out and then spent the next six hours cutting it. I couldn't find my exacto knife so it took alot longer than it should have. As for the bleeding, it bled all over the place, which was upsetting because in the test run it didn't bled at all. I guess I got a little overzealous with the paint. But if you can't see the bleeding, I guess I shouldn't complain too much.
