If anyone has figured out how, or knows of a good pattern for making big bras please post.  I would like to make some out of T shirts.

It's not a pattern - but I've been buying bras from Decent Exposures for quite a number of years - 10 or so! They are pricey - BUT - They're made in the USA, by women, each bra is custom AND - they pay a living wage to the people who work for them!!!
I keep thinking that I'll take apart one of the old ones that is falling apart as a pattern, but I'm in grad school now and don't have as much time as I used to....

Did anybody find patterns?
It's funny I was just thinking about this when I got dressed this morning.  A lot of my bras are on their way out and they are so expensive!  I can't afford to go on a shopping binge.

I found this pattern online, but I don't know if it would be any good.  I don't think you could use old t-shirts.

Hey, thanks for that link, I have been meaning to spend some time looking for a pattern or tutorial.  But now I have decided that I need to go and get fitted correctly because the bras I have been wearing I don't think fit correctly.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure mine don't fit either, but it's just because I can't ever find the size that would.  It's an even better reason for me to get right on this!

Thank you for the link!
I went and got fitted and the lady told me that my current bra is two sizes two big in the band and two sizes to small in the cup. EEEEEEP!!!!! I was horrified. Especially since everything she showed me after that point looked like body armour!
I would love to make my own bras and have them be a little more fun and girly!

Yeah, I know!
I hate the brunhilde body armor crap!
When we were little my brother and I were always a bit horrified by my grandmother's sturdy bras drip drying in the bathroom...  now I have to wear them Sad

Brunhilde...  lol.  Nothing like slipping out of your very sexy outfit to show your partner sexy lace panties and a horrendous grandmother bra with two inch straps.  Matching bras and panties for big girls are, like, 10 dollars more.  Ridiculous.  It's not like it's that much more material...

I'd love to make my own bras and panties, although I'm only just getting back into sewing, so I'll probably work up to that.  I saw this website in another craftster forum, and thought I'd give it a try...  (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=82275.0)  You key in your measurements on the website and it sets up the pattern for you.  Asked me if I was sure my breast measurements were correct, though.   Undecided
