Please READ CAREFULLY! This is a pretty new style of swap, and it works
differently than most.

The first person puts a list together of all the things they could
imagine wanting that they can’t make. YOU CAN HAVE AS MANY ITEMS ON YOUR
WISH LIST AS YOU WANT, HOWEVER YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF SIX.

Then people will read your list, and see if they see something they
want to/can make on there. They reply to the thread and say “I claim Suzie
and I’m going to make her a pink scarf" or whichever wish they are
fulfilling. Please remember that this is a wish swap, and people are posting
their wishes.  Do not claim someone unless you can fulfill that wish to a high calibur!

3/3/06--Please check the lists to see if I have made any mistakes!  We are almost up to 200 wishes so it's certainly possible I may have missed something!


If your name is in red, I've sent you a PM, PM me back as quickly as possible!  This means I don't have a PM from you concerning your status, one week from your send date and I haven't heard anything from you, I'll be changing feedback to negative.

Green means you have been in communication about your status, and need a little more time, I understand that some things take longer to make and send out than others. Please keep in contact with me about your status! THIS IS NOT A "TAKE AS LONG AS YOU WANT" CARD! hello ms. aschneb, i will be choosing your yarn for today i have recently bought $100 (?!) of non-returnable yarn so i have to destash some!

my list:

1. a needle felting kit - i would love you forever!!! i'm dying to learn!!

2. something to do with sushi. i don't care what! i'm on a sushi kick!

3. Wool Roving for spinning or felt bead making

4. any Handspun yarn -- any color, any texture

5. books with cool knitting patterns! i have the snb set, but not much beyond that.

6. a stenciled shirt (kid's 12/14 or 14/16, or women's Med)  with a skull/crossbones but in a cute way, like the cupcake and crossbones or something else cutesy like that... actually what i thought was super cute was if there were skulls going around the sleeves of a long sleeved shirt as if they were an armband tattoo.

7. handmade knitting needles... any size with maybe some cool fimo ends!

I am part Native American, and I also love Native American Lit.  I can sew and crochet, and do photography, mixed media, a little jewelry work, and paint.  I love the simplicity of how Angelina Jolie dresses, and the dainty 40's ness of Kirsten Dunst in Spiderman 2.  I like things that look like they're from the 20s-40s (think The Hours) and interesting (but professional-looking- I'll start student teaching soon) accessories.  Here are my wishes:

3.   I would love a nice dainty knit scarf.  I like bubble-girl’s opera scarf, Oona’s dayflower lace scarf, a clover scarf, or Ms.Snit’s fan and feather scarf
4.   Stuff to make purses (zippers, d-rings, wooden rings, Velcro, interfacing, trim, piping, whatever) and some instructions to go with it ?
5.   Yarn (I would love some dainty silky yarn like Noro or some handspun yarn to make cute things with, or actually, just about any non-itchy yarn, as it is so expensive here; I have so many blues, that I would welcome another color)
6.   Brooches/pins for my coat (I love kanzashi, knit flowers, fabric flowers, or cute kitsch charms (like the lamb one somebody made a while ago)).  I really want to add some color to my dreary winter coat. I love, love, love, love the cameo pin that pucchimaiko sent girlwonder in the 3.5 month stash swap- totally my style! Or the pin Madmatigan sent shimmers in the fill a coin purse swap.  Though feel free to get as colorful as you’d like.
7.   I’d love one of laurasaurus’ 50’s half aprons (I love the looks of the two she posted, but especially the second one, with the blue flowers and brown trim, those are some of my fave colors and patterns!)
