Last summer I wanted to make a baby quilt for a friend and so turned to the internet for square patterns.  I thought it would be fun to make them all different but with the same color themes.  This is what I came up with:

I really, really like that!

A friend just had a baby girl and she did the nursery in red.  Something like this would've been perfect for her!

omg that is so great.  i look at it and can't help but imagine that when the baby gets older and the quilt gets older, how beautiful its still going to be.  i love it when they get old and worn.  they look so nice.

i love your edges.  Its look so beuatiful, i love how you did different patterns, the better to feast our eyes on and see all the dimensions of the blocks.

Hey, what's the name of the block in the lower right (4 cubes with perspective)? It's really neat.

good job!

Bbonnn, you made me have to think  Smiley

but I finally found the pattern again on the net.  It's called Box Quilt and this is where you can find the pattern:

Ah, thank you for the link. I was thinking, using that block alone and playing up the idea that it's blocks in four perspectives, one could make a mindbending psychedelic cubist quilt. Hee hee.

All the blocks are 12"x12" (or they are supposed to be but I don't always have an exact 1/4" seam  Wink)
