thanks so much.  of all the clothes i've made, i think it's my favorite.

it's justinexcore's dress, so i could answer really specific questions, but i don't feel like it's my place to provide a tutorial.  seriously though, if you want a similar dress, just go for it.  i had never drawn my own pattern and i didn't even realize my mom's sewing machine had a stretch stitch before i made this, and it was much easier than i expected.  just draw up a pattern for a very long t-shirt that's the same shape as you (or your best-fitting clothes), and add ruffles where they look pretty.  i used 2 xl men's hanes undershirts for mine.

really, just try.  you can do it.
