I wanted to wait and post this when I could get pictures of the actual owner of this skirt to model cause it looks way better on here.  But I know everyone is anxious to "see" some work so I am moving this post from another thread now and when I can get a new picture I will add it.

who says big girls can't wear Pillow Case Skirts?Huh

My daughter made this pillow case skirt for my mom!!  It of course took two pillow cases that were the same, but it worked out good.  This is me modeling too early in the morning, but my mom has worn it and it was too cute

Notice the ruffly bottom.

That is a fabulous idea, I used to buy large bedsheets from Value Village and turn them into pants, I even had a pair that had raggedy ann and andy on them. Grin

That looks great!  I want to try that!  In the summer when it gets hot, I like to wear skirts, because I feel too self concious in shorts.  I also like to go to Value Village and buy cute sheets, either nice pretty florals, or fun cartoon ones like Popples, Mickey Mouse, I even found Harry Potter ones!  Sheets are great for using to make long full skirts as well.
