those are very fun. do you just cut out the design an satin stitch them on by machine. or is there way more to it?

i draw out the design and reinforce the fabric with fusible interfacing.  fray check is a must, especially with the sheer material.  i recently purchased heatnbond so my appliques wouldn't be puckered, but i'm not having the best of luck, i guess i'm overheating it? once thats all taken care of, i satin stitch by machine.  it doesn't sound like much, but it takes me longer than making the entire bag.

funny cause i have good luck with heatnbond but the one time i used fusible interfacing it ruined the bag i was making. i really gotta try out satin stitch again. much faster than hand stitching around appliques. just something i need to get the hang of. Smiley

Those are soo nice!! I like the swimming frog too! And the star! The sequins are a nice touch. And the buttons on the apple tree! I can vividly imagine how long it must take you to do the actual designs. Might be good to stick to the simple ones *when* you get really busy with lots of orders!!!  Cheesy
