I decided to jump on the bandwagon with all the cute little naimals being made and decided to make a bunny.  I didn't use a pattern, just made it up as i went along, but i did have a lot of fun making it and figure i will get even better as i go on.

So what do you guys think?  I feel like he needs something else, maybe a shirt? or a scarf? or something?

He/she is so cute! Yeah, maybe a scarf would look good. I'm impressed that you made up the pattern yourself, it looks great!

That's amazing, I knit now but have been wanting to learn how to crochet. I think this might actually be the project that get me to do it. You did a really good job, my daughters would love it as is.

thanks for all the nice comments.  i showed it to my sister and she said "where's the tail" i realised i forgot it and i think thats why i thought it was missing something (i'm soo forgetful sometimes!)  so i will be adding a little pom pom yarn tail and i think that will complete it!

and joesherryw, i started off knitting as well, and taught myself to crochet.  its really easy once you get the hang of it.  this is my first project that wasn't just a typical hat or scarf, so once you know the basics its easy to come up with things like this if you know how to make patterns/know how to form things. yo ushould really give it a try!

It's sooooo sweet. *grins*

Out of pure curiousity, did you give it a name? (I'm always very much in the favour of naming things. It's, uh, a thing.  Wink)

I think he's perfect just the way he is.  Except for the tail, of course.  All bunnies need little puffy tails Cheesy
