I think they are from the 70's .    Does anyone have a* free* resource for these patterns? I've been looking, but haven't had any luck finding anything so far.....

Thanks!
Danielle

I have been searching for you ever since I saw your post and I am coming up empty.  There is a book by Erika Knight called "Simple Knits with a Twist" that has a knit retro poodle bottle cover.  I requested a copy from the library.  I don't knit well, but whenever I get the book (it's on order) I could post instructions for the knit pattern (unless, of course, it's not allowed here to post a pattern from a book).  That's all I've been able to locate myself.  I've seen several pictures of some online, but no patterns.  Sorry! I've a vintage pattern book that has a crocheted poodle tea cozie, designed for a tall coffee pot rather than a squat, round teapot.  I imagine it could be reworked slightly to be more for a bottle, and might be nearly the right size to cover a roll of toilet paper.  By searching for "poodle bottle cover" on google, the first link which comes up has a pattern (but no pics) to crochet in three sizes.

Lothruin...Does the one in the vintage pattern book seem to match up pretty well with the patterns on Google?

Kamithina...thank you for your perseverence! I appreciate it!  If you get the book and it looks good you could always email me and "tell" me what you think...wink, wink... Wink

Thank you both..

Still no free pattern (and no book from the library as it's still on order).  I did find this though:

FINALLY!  Okay, I know this isn't EXACTLY what you're looking for, but I hope it helps!  If this link doesn't work, just go to www.freepatterns.com and do a search.

Good luck!!  Grin
