I just discovered a darling little yarn shop in Lake Charles called Knit N Needle.  It's on the corner of Hodges and 5th.  They have a knitting group Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:30 and on Saturdays from noon - ?  I am brand new to knitting and they were very helpful.  Check it out if you're in Southwest Lousiana.
