How did you do that?!

i found a pattern for knitted flowers in the winter '05 issue of vogue knitting.  i altered it a bit to fit my yarn stash. 

at the moment i can't find the magazine nor remember the pattern, but i'll look around.

i remember googling 'knit flower patterns' once and finding a few keepers.  maybe try that.  it's a great way to use leftover yarn and it's really satisfying to complete a project in half an hour.

very pretty!  i have been thinking of making one for my mother-in-law.  need to get my butt in gear....

the link entitled "flowers" in the 2nd column has the flower patterns from the book handknit holidays (and they have a couple of the other patterns from that book too!)

these are so super cute. im learniing how to knit again after 14 years (8 years old with greatgrandma was the last time i tried) and i so love these and it shows the uniqueness of knitting.
