I've gotten my hands on a Xyron sticker machine, so the card making has begun...

These two are my favorite Valentines.

First is Bee Mine, with chocolate brown velvet letters, pink satin ribbon with brown bees, and brown and white polka dot ribbon. I used the sticker machine to adhere the ribbons.

Then there is Take Me Out. The black parts are printed, and the red is handpainted. I then stickerized (heh) a real fortune cookie fortune, stuck it on an origami paper backing, and then stickerized that to adhere to the card. The fortune reads "You will take a chance in something in the near future."

Oh goodness, these are really cute.  I love the bee ribbon and the play on words in the second one.

Gotta get crackin' on my own V-Day cards now ;__;

These kick ass!

Tell me about the xyron machine...does it put adhesive on one side of paper to make it sticker-like?

Thanks everyone. I managed to sell the Bee Mine card, so I'm quite happy.

Amaryllisroze, I have the Xyron 510 which you can use to laminate, turn things into stickers, or turn into magnets, depending on what cartridge you use. You just stick some paper, ribbon, or other such thing into the machine, crank it through with the handle, and it lays it down on whichever type of cartridge paper you have in there. In the case of the sticker paper, it makes your stuff come out sticky on the bottom side just like a sticker.
I found the machine quite affordable with a 50% off coupon at Joann.com (coupon code from a Craftster ad).
