Jankel- yes, you can buy wonder-under at walmart! its cheap there too! hehe  Smiley

When you flip over your applique, you can use the bobbin thread (the thread underneathe the fabric) to pull through the top thread. Just pull the thread to the side a bit and you'll see the top thread kinda come through a bit, then just grap it with your fingers or use a pin (it will be a little loop) and pull it completely thru. I can't get a pic of the detail, so just trust me here.  Wink You'll see what I mean when you try it.

If I can pull both ends through, I'll tie all four strings together. but most of the time, since you sew over your starting point a bit, you won't be able to.

Let me know if you need anymore help/explaining on that. Its kinda confusing to put into words. (or maybe I'm just not with it today..lol)

You're welcome aschnebly!  Grin

Wow - fantastic tute Cheesy  Definately something to try with my new machine Cheesy  He's got so many feet, I'm sure there must be an applique one in there somewhere.

I have no idea where I can get wonder under in the Uk though...

Its a pretty basic sewing supply staple... try your local fabric store.. if they don't have Wonder-Under, I'm sure they have something simmilair. W.U is actually a brand name, there are lots of other kinds.  Smiley

Thank you so much for posting this.  I was seriously just sitting in my room 10 minutes ago, planning out a Brontosaurus applique for a skirt.  I read up a little on how to do it, but seeing your pictures really helped a lot!  Talk about great timing!

Beautiful beautiful job!!  I hope my applique turns out half as awesome!  Cheesy
