Hey,
So we had discussed this in the swap ideas thread, since there are people in our swap sending from all over the world and from all different climates.
Post a pic of the tree closest to you.. ie one you see often, from your window, on your street a park you visit etc.. It should be a current picture ideally one taken within a few days of posting. The idea is to get a snapshot of what trees all over the world look like right now.
I was going to wait to start this up till I had a pic to post.. but my computer just died  Sad
I'm in the process of trying to retrieve data from my hardrive and only using shared computers.. so no pics for me for a while... but I'd love to see all yours!

Well, because we've had such a change in weather over the past few days, I have quite a few different ones. Okay, I'm not even a part of this swap... but if you'd like... excuse the crappy picture quality...

All taken in NH, chez moi.

Suburbia is where the developer bulldozes out the trees,
then names the streets after them.

I love trees. How fortunate you are to live by these.

until then.. I just finished a custom order for a tree messenger bag.. and I'm very happy with it! So, I can offer this:

if you'd rather just have photos miss bobolink.. just let me know and I'll delete this.  Smiley

i live in texas/oklahoma, where there have been tons of fires as of late.  i wish i had gotten pictures of the burned trees on the drive up, but pictures don't turn out too hot when you're going 80.  Undecided  there are some interesting trees around campus, so i'll take pictures tomorrow.

Its been rainy/dark out lately so I haven't got any really current pictures of my yard but I hope these are ok.
These were taken last summer at my favorite park and hiking spot. (both very near to where I live)

yay for trees!

Those are all great! I'll try to take some pics of my wintery city trees tomorrow. We just have old dirty snow now so it's not so scenic. I LOVE the shot of the trees in bloom, I LOVE LOVE LOVE flowering trees! Ah...I can't wait for spring!!! sigh... *gazes out window glumly and imagines cherry blossoms and sunshine*

Aaaaaw, those mountains and trees... beautiful!
I live in The Netherlands. We have no mountains. Hardly any natural forests too (there's 16 million of us in this small country).
Great pictures!
