I got my package today and couldn't wait to photograph and post! I don't know if Suzie plans to post what she got from me, but if you want a peek, I put it in my LJ (includes pics of the Tall Card deck).

Firefly Swap 1 Package from Suzie - Pic1

This was so much fun to open! And it's not all pictured. Keep going to see the rest.

In the tin: a collection of Firefly and Serenity magnets that are going on the fridge today; a Kaylee-inspired Serentiy necklace; a Zoe-inspired leather thong; a whole set of Inara-inspired jewelry in green: earrings, earcuff (right?), necklace, bracelet and ring. It must have rolled out of the way, but there is also a little rubber ball like the one in "Objects in Space."

Immediately to the left of the tin, you see a bobble-headed geisha doll. Then, a pretty silk sheath that holds two sets of chopsticks. Then a decorated tin (more details to follow), and a little silk coin purse.

It's all sitting on a wool vertical messenger bag that I'll be putting to good use pretty soon!
Firefly Swap 1 Package from Suzie - Pic2

Some detail of the jewelry. It's all so pretty!  Plus the back of the tin.
Firefly Swap 1 Package from Suzie - Inside the tin

A little quote, "Bye now. Have good sex." (Kaylee) And a bunch of knitting notions.
Firefly Swap 1 Package from Suzie - Dino Diorama

I think I might have more dinosaurs than Wash! Plus, the palm trees double as pens. Just to the left, which didn't make the picture (pout) is a little penguin. Not a Firefly thing -- a Suzie thing.
Firefly Swap 1 Package from Suzie - Firefly & Serenity Journal

Suzie spent some serious time cutting and pasting dozens of little pictures onto and into this journal. The front is all Firefly, the back is all Serentiy, and she added little bits on random pages inside.

Plus, a Blue Sun iron on.

The back of the journal.

I'd say this package rocks!

Round Two, indeed.

Regan, who's really glad the sign up period for round two is so long, because she'll be finishing angel-ing on one swap this week and completing a second next week.

Received from PurpleHeather- she's sent me the links to her pics so here they are:

A blue sun bag lined with oriental fabric and dinosaurs in the pocket! She said it's her first attempt at a bag- it's fab!

A croched bobble headed Geisha

And... a mini Jayne hat egg cosy

All lovely stuff!!

Thanks so much Heather!

On my doorstep this morning, from Australia--my package from geek-pride!
Thank you, swap angel!

Here is the awesome stuff she sent me--don't know how she got such a good read on my taste from a couple of IMs....

Working our way down through the stack...
--the most authentic Jayne hat I can imagine (warm, soft, bulky mohair blend--mmmmm)
Tag says: "Wear it with pride & people will know--You're not afraid of anything!
--Dear Buddha incense burner...Tag says: "Alliance authorities state: This item is not to be used in conjunction with flash bombs.  It is for use with incense and joss-sticks only."  Darn.
--And a little Buddha to accompany it.
--Sandalwood fan...Tag says: "Flirt at your next shindig with this scented fan."
--2 beaded bracelets--one says"I heart firefly"--the other, "Browncoat"
--6 paper lanterns ..."Decorate your room Kayle style" on a scrap from a bag of Chinese snacks (love these--perfect for spring!)
--Red tank top, says "serenity" in Chinese & English w/a silhouette of the ship.  Exactly my style!

See?  Not afraid of anything:

Thank you, geek-pride!!

The Buddha used to be glued on the incense burner with super-strong glue...   Sad
I hate to think what kind of pressure it was under to remove it! And yet the fan is intact... strange... Undecided
I was worried the hat would be too tight or small (I knit pretty tight) but it looks like it fits fine.

Best of all -  you liked it all!  Cheesy I'm so glad! The snack packet was kind of lying around, empty when I was making the tags and the little corn guys were so cute, I had to use it! I could tell from your PMs you needed something subtle, simple and you liked rich, warm colours so thats what I went for.

Glad it worked out!

Geek-pride that is awesome! (again, how cool is this woman?)

How cool is that Serenity logo thing on that shirt? Did you invent it? Or just find it somewhere? Either way can you point me in a direction to find it? I need a shirt like that?
