We were leaving the house on Saturday, when we found this in our mailbox!

I had to wait all day to get home and open it!  Here's what was inside, courtesy of Trifarina, whose crafting skills I bow down to:

* A fabulous Blue Sun T-shirt (it's so soft, it's my new nightie!)
* A silk scarf (it's embroidered on both ends, but I wanted the darker back side to show)
* An AMAZING embroidered purse.  Trifarina, you are the purse-making queen!  The purse itself is so well made, and the Blue Sun logo is just perfect.
* A palm tree and stegosaurus, tied together with a note that says, "WASH IS MY COPILOT".  Tee hee!

Thank you thank you thank you!!!  The toys are on the windowsill over my craft table (my "dashboard"), and I can't wait for nicer weather to wear the purse and scarf!

P.S. What do the characters on the scarf mean?

"It turns out they do make hats in my size. They are called "BUCKETS" and they sell them at the hardware store."
no... gone completely

That is awesome!

Am now experiencing swap anxiety and jealousy, that blue sun shirt is awesome!

I have decided that the hokey pokey is what it's all about.

The characters on the scarf were my attempt at the characters under the blue sun logo...  As it turns out, I don't like embroidering on silk, it just doesn't want to stay put.  Good to know for future reference before I buy a few bolts of the stuff. Smiley
I'm really glad you like the stuff!  I had fun making all of it!

Ladies.  My package will not be mailed until Monday.  I had to have my dog put to sleep yesterday, and I haven't had time to get to the post office this week.  Sorry for the delay.

Mine will also not be in the mail until Monday, but more because I'm an idiot, and didn't realize that the 28th? Was a Saturday. Sorry, Heather.

WOW. I definitely came home from class today to find the most *amazing* package waiting on my desk. (Kindly rescued from the snow by my roommates)

Wide shot of (almost) everything in the parcel, with corner of my neuroanatomy textbook for scale. Wink I absolutely love the t-shirt (those are the characters from the Blue Sun logo, along with the stencil she used to make it, so I can. . .adorn everything else I own!) The white thing is a beautiful, *beautiful* canvas notebook cover, with "Serenity" in Japanese and Korean. The inside of the notebook it came with also has quotes written on random pages. So thoughtful! And, I almost forgot, roughly 1/3 of a Tall Card deck, which I plan to cut out and use as bookmarks.

But wait! You'd think that'd be it, but then she also made me. . .this wonderful bag! It's so roomy, and well-made, I'm so intimidated by the mad sewing-and-crocheting skills this girl has.

Shot of the fabric lining the bag, which is just gorgeous.

Neat!  Both posted packages look excellent.  Special props to Trifarina for creative packaging.  I wanted to come up with something creative for the outside of my box, but my creative juices dried up, and my supplies weren't talking to me.  Ah well, hopefully the inside makes up for it.   Grin
