This was a stash buster project. Plus a great way to warm up my feet for these cold months.

Here are two sock patterns I've created. A lace sock takes 4-5 hours and a cable sock is about 3-4 hours. Enjoy! Just remember not to put these socks in the washing machine.

aww. so pretty! and I have some of that yarn left from socks I just made!


oh.. and you said it took one skein.. did you have leftovers? cuz I have a ball that I just used a bit for heels and toes of another pair of socks... wondering if I'll have enough..

Those are both gorgeous socks!  I'm working my first project in Cascade 220, and I just love the warmth and feel of it.  I can imagine how toasty your tootsies must be in those!!

yay!  I just wanted to say that your written pattern is one of the best ways I've seen- including the check boxes is BRILLIANT, and the photo guide right there in the pattern- well, you're a frickin' genius.  I can't wait to get home and make that cable, it's GORGEOUS.

I plan on doing both of those, they're wonderful.  I'm going to try them in sock weights though, because I'd love to wear them outside of the house!
