Baby, I'm goin' places!

Hello PA crafters!  I am looking for leads on some spring craft shows.  I did my first craft show this summer, and 4 more followed in the fall, but I'm clueless for spring and the few online craft show listers were not very helpful.

I'm in the middle of the state but will travel some.  Hub is stingy with his time, so Philly is out.

TIA

there's a spring/Easter craft show up by me on April 8-9.  But it's in Leesport, which is outside of Reading, so it's probally too far for u to travel.   Undecided

Thanks for letting me know, though!

It's a little far for me just yet.  I'd love to have a show where I'd need to pack up and stay overnite, but I don't think my husband is ready for me to do that just yet.

I did get a lead on a local parenting gig.  No sales permitted, but I can take advance orders and hand out biz cards and brochures.  Sounds like a plan to me, and I'll be there as a resource on babywearing.

Ginger, thanks for posting the link.  I had checked that one out before and there just isn't anything listed within 60 miles or so of me for spring.  I do have it bookmarked so I'll keep checking to see if anyone adds anything.

Hi!  I'm also out here in middle of nowhere PA.  I'm just getting into doing some craft shows.  There is a craft show at St. Mary's high school in St. Mary's, PA at the end of March.  I've not been to the spring show there, but attended the Christmas show, which was very nice and suprisingly large for a high school craft show.  I've been told the Spring show is a little smaller, but still may be worth looking into if that is an acceptable distance for you to travel.  Please let me know if you know of any good shows anywhere in central Pa.  This state is so darn big and everything is so spread out it can be daunting to find shows within a maintainable distance.

fairgreenlady,
I may be getting in on this one kinda late, but...I live in Lancaster County, and have registered for the New Holland craft fair, which is June 24th, 9-3.  It's about 20 minutes east of Lancaster city, and about 1 and 1/2 hrs. west of Philly.  Hope this helps!

Thanks for posting.  Lancaster is a little too far for me just yet, but I'm sure the info will help someone else!

For those who are more in central PA, there is the 21st Annaul Black Moshannon Festival July 22 & 23.  PM me for the contact info or find it on craftlister.com

There is also one in Sayre (NE PA) the first weekend in August.  You need liability insurance for that one, and I'm still looking into that.

Bellefonte Arts Festival is also in August.  I don't have the info in front of me, but they have gone up from $100 last year to $125 this year.  This is a juried show.

Are they still doing the arts festival in conjunction with PSU's Arts Fest?  Or have they moved the date to later in the summer?
