My guess was that it's sending things from your area.

PS. House is wonderful! Oh, Hugh Laurie. <3

Actually its a mixture of both. "I live in _______ country, and I'll make stuff from my country for you, and you admire ________ country and I'll make stuff that symbolizes that country for you as well." That's why I want to partner up people who sort of like similar countries or areas. Even if your partner may not have listed your country as a liked place, you could still ask and craft an item symbolizing your country as a surprise.

For example, say Duckie was my partner, and I said I liked Japan. She could look at some Japanese related sights and pictures, and make something for me that's Japanese inspired. She could craft something American as well for me and include it. Or she may choose an aspect of her heritage to craft for me from. And if she liked Japan as well, I would do the same. And I would include something from my country in her package as well as a nice surprise, or at her request.

This does look like fun. I'm from the UK but I doubt anyone would want anything from here.

I know I sure would! For the "I can't get that here"-style swaps people outside North America are always in high demand; I don't see how this one would be different!
