I just finished this messenger bag:

I knew exactly what i wanted it to look like and that included several things i've never done before.
Here is my first messenger bag (i made several small bags and purses)
with my first ever embroidery and my first attempt at piping.

cell phone pocket

w/ flap open

lining and inside pocket

It's going to be a birthday present for a friend. I hope she likes it!

I'm really happy with it and i think i'll make another one for myself.

What do you think?

It looks incredible! Very professional, and I love the lining and the embroidery.
I'm sure your friend will love it! How long did it take to make?

I agree with Zephyr!  Very well made and very professional.  The lining is so beautiful...where did you find it?
