Okay, I've made reconstructed purses before, but this is my first attempt at a "serious" purse!  I really liked it until my dh pointed out all the little stuff, now I'm not sure I should carry it out in public!!  Tell me what you think please.

Here's the front:

I got the material from my friends material closet.  The outside is cord and I loved the inside fabric.

From the side:

The inside (I don't think you can see my Betty stuff though:

Thanks for any input!!

Jeepers - he complains that I'm always buying purses, so I told him that it's cheaper for me to make my own than to buy them!  Do I complain about all the fishing poles and guns around here?!

Betty stuff = I have a Betty Boop wallet, coin purse and cellphone holder.  Oh yea, keychain too!

I like the colors, you picked a great lining for the green.  None of the 'little things' are visible from the photos so they probably won't be by the general public. If you wind up with someone with their eyeballs to your bag inspecting it for tiny things then they have the problem not you.  Grin

So I say make sure your handles are sturdy enough to carry all the great stuff you will have inside and wear with pride!

I didn't see anything wrong with your bag!  I love the green cord and the pretty lining material you used.

Awww, thanks guys!  I feel much better about it already.  In fact, I'm running to the store right now and am going to take it with me!

My husband is the same way so I stopped asking his opinion.  Everyone else loves the stuff I make as everything usually sells the moment I show it off.  LOL

Keep it up...I love your bag and the fabric choices!  Wear it with pride!!!
