I sent my pm to PinkMafia. I want someone to sew for me. One thing I would like is a (straight) knitting needle case, but if not that, then I just  want to be surprised Smiley

I started knitting in August, but am already knitting a sweater ( http://savannahchik.typepad.com/photos/handknit_holidays/gansey.html ) for my hubby. I'm looking forward to making something(s) for one of you sewing people!

I sent in my PM!  I'm a knitter, and I would love to be paired with a sewing person.  I learned to knit over 10 years ago, but I got back into it about 3 years ago.  I have made all sorts of stuff, including 5 sweaters.  If you have a pattern (that doesn't involve much colorwork, that's the one skill that has really eluded me) and the yarn budget is reasonable, I'm game!

I sent in my PM last night, and I'm in!  Yay!

I crochet, and I'd like to be paired with either a knitter or a seamstress.  I make all sorts of stuff, but I love making shawls, hats, and purses.  In return, I'd like to receive a Clapotis.  Seeing this on the knitting board made me want to learn how to knit (I tried, and I suck).  From a seamstress, I'd appreciate a Jordy bag or similar tote bag.  Following Quincy134's example, here's some of my work:

Ive been thinking about this....Im a more experienced knitter than crocheter, and Id love to have someone sew something for me.  I understand we need a balance of sewers and knitters-crocheters / that theres a 24 person limit...how are sign ups going?

Why, thank you!  I heartily encourage you to give knitting a try!  It sometimes takes a while to get the hang of, but practice is really the key.
