It cracks me up that they named TWO patterns in that gallery after the goddess of love--and THAT  was one of them...

hah. aphrodite in different colors has potential, i'd say. i'd make it longer though, for a nightgown type thing.

Maybe with heavy mods on that aphrodite. I'd say as is its pretty hideous and unflattering. I agree on thinking the babette and the 70s look one are cute. Its cracks me up that this one is named after the island where my office is: http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/sanibel/sanibel.html
I'm guessing the pattern designer/namer is one of the tourists I wish I could drive over =)
