I'd love to join in on this stitchalong. I've been checking out spritestitch.com and I found these awesome patterns via a link there
http://www.thedomesticscientist.com/2008/09/08/home-is-where-the-controller-is/

It has Nes controller, which is what I think I'll end up doing, will keep everyone posted.

BTW, love all the work I've seen here so far!

Hi !

I've been a huge fan of game cross-stitching for some time, but I only discovered Crafster a few weekds ago.

There's this great site dedicated only to game crafts: http://www.spritestitch.com. It is where I heard of the Mario 3 map by Cross Stitch Ninja, and decided to sitch the same. It's so great, my dad has stolen it !

I actually contributed with a Mario themed bib (line is in French, sorry, that's where i live): http://www.spritestitch.com/?p=1927

Hey Loora, that bib is awesome, what a cool idea. I discovered spritestitch.com quite awhile ago but have never actually done any cross stitch from there until now, I love that site!

I've been making some progress on the map. Right now the background is driving me crazy, but it's starting to look good!

Still, a LOT to do left...

WOW. Amazing work. The efforts will definitely be worth it in the end!

Mind if I join?  Cheesy  A while ago I started the Punch Out patterns from Sprite stitch and since I'm incredibly slow I've been posting them over in the Big Project Stitchalong board.  I didn't even know this thread was here!  Here's what I have so far...

And hopefully this is what it will look like when it's finished only with all the squares filled in.  Cheesy

I'm working on a huge Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time project at the moment, so I figured I may as well post my WIP here. Smiley

This is what the finished piece will look like:

And this is my WIP:

I'm working with 22ct Aida and believe that it will be around ten inches across and twelve down. Wish me luck!
