This took a lot longer than I thought it would (garter stitch--so many rows, so few inches), but it's finally done, just a leeetle late for Christmas.  This is for my nephew who's 4 mos. old.

Front:

Back:

The pile of flesh was the kimono sweater in Debbie Bliss: Baby Style.  It was so gosh-darn cute I just had to buy the book.  It was quite easy and straightforward.  The yarn was Merino Style from Knitpicks.com, in strawberry & crocus.  The number of skeins recommended by knitpicks & debbie bliss was wrong, though--you need 3 of each color, not 2, for the 6-9 mos size.  (As you can see, I ran out of yellow)

I wonder how it will wear?  I wonder if it should be longer?  Anyhow--fun!  Hope  you like it!

That is one of the cutest baby sweaters I have ever seen.  It would probably be a pretty flattering style for an adult too.

That's so cute! Nice colors you used. It's actually too cute to not make one for yourself Wink

That's adorable, and I actually like the effect created by adjusting for running out of yellow. It sets off the sleeves nicely, I think. Bravo!

That is phenomenal, I wish I had someone to make cool gifts like that for my kids. Cheesy Anyway I think the style, and the color combo are RAAR grr ugggh. That is certainly a gift that will be treasured (late or not).
