I received the absolute best notecards in the mail from Pretendpeterpan!  I requested notecards based on the band The Weakerthans, and what I received are so perfect.

This one says: "The night's a spill, a permanent stain; the city soaks in silence, salt, and dirty snow" from the song "Wellington's Wednesdays."

"I trace your outline in spilled sugar, killing time and killing hope" from "None of the Above"

"We must never stop watching the sky with our hands in our pockets" from "Sounds Familiar"

And finally "I have a story that I'd like to tell you, it's littered with settings and second takes" from "Diagnosis"

All of the cards are more like mini works of art and I love them so much.  Thanks again, Pretendpeterpan!

Just wanted to let everyone know I received a FABULOUS knitting tote from Madmatigan79 today!  It's turquoise courderoy with fish and shark felt appliques.  The lining is fish and crabs and really an underwater theme.  I will post pics as soon as I can.

Thanks again, Madmatigan79!

I'm glad that you liked it, redpopsicles! Here are some pics:

I was worried about the clashy fish (I loved them, but I know that bright-n-clashing isn't everyone's cup of tea!).

The peas.

The cactus.

The mishapen, ribbon one.
