i got my fabulous purse from ruwena!

i totally love it, i can't wait to go out and have an excuse to wear it!

and the skulls perfectly match the colour of the next tutu i'm making, so it's going to go wonderfully.

here it is with sofie investigating.

a close up, with my hand in the pictures so that you can get a good idea of the size. (none of the pics of me wearing it worked very well!)

it's really the perfect size. my current club/party purse is just a eensy bit too small, but this will fit everything!

and the wonderful lining. she thought she did a bad job, but it's great! she's just being silly!

she knitted it with intarsia, then felted it, and she did a stupendous job!

I'm so glad you like it Cheesy I saw that you wanted one like it in the Ongoing Wish List 4 or 5. That was my first time with Intarsia, sewing linings. felting and zippers. I was pretty pleased with the results Smiley You were a perfect swap partner Crafty Dame and Thank You Tofuttibreak I think you did a marvelous job pairing us together!!

Here is the bag that leelee made for me! I'm so sorry that it took so long to post--I got it a really long time ago, but I couldn't get my camera to work until now.

It's lined and has a nice magnetic closure!
Here is a closer photo of the cables--it was her first time cabling and they turned out great!

Thanks again, leelee!

I received my bag. It is a square crochet shopping bag with handles...all the way from Australia. It also came with Australian souvenirs, really sweet. Pictures to follow hopefully.

hi hoxierice, glad it got there safely, the mail was pretty quick that time, i took it into the main bussiness postoffice in cairns which speeds up deliver by days.
Anyhow here is the crochet shopping tote modelled by my daughter. It is black and  mixed colour yarn which had beautiful mauve and turquoise in it and a touch of pink, all my favourite colours. I hope you get to use it and enjoy the little souvenirs, i forgot to take pics of them.
Here is the bag pic.

Hoxierice, thanks for sending me a lovely bag and thanks heaps to tofuttibreak for organizing.
cheers, cyndiq

I have been using my bag to tote around supplies for a project and I have gotten many compliments. These people know about the skills that I have, so I have to tell them that I actually didn't make my bag, but someone in Australia is in possession of a bag I made.
