Yeah, it is! Funny thing, though I made it for a friend of mine. I decided against doing a gauge swatch for this project, mostly because I'm usually pretty spot on with recommendations. Thinking that it would be the same this time, I knit up Tychus and *poof* ... it was a lampshade hat. So I took some funny pictures. I still like it, though, and I made my friend take the hat. I told him he could turn it into a bag or something.  Wink

xamonster:  heeheehee at least you still liked the pattern Wink  I'm always running into problems w/gauge 'cause I hate swatching.  Usually I just alter the pattern so it works but with tychus I didn't have to (yay!)

peopleshootinghat:  So cute; I love the color!!  What yarn did you use?  And the matching mittens are hot too Cheesy  I can't seem to be able to find a good mitten pattern, which one did you use??

peopleshootinghat: I LOVE that yarn!! What kind is it? The color is fabulous Smiley

Here's my hat... slightly modified. I wasn't really feeling the kitty ears, so I added a pompom instead. It's my first attempt at a hat (and I knitted it on straight needles instead of in the round).

Me being excited about my new hat!

my hat hanging out on my cluttered desk. Smiley

I can't wait to make another!
