This was my first knitted hat Cheesy I had quite a bit of trouble w/it.  First the ears were to small, then they were to high, then I accidentally cut a hole in the hat (read about it here).  So after a few little tantrums I decided to try crocheting around the edge of the ears and *BAM* perfection Grin

Cute! I made the devil hat, it was my first non scarf project. Let me tell you making those 3-D horns are a pain in the ass. and I messed up when it got to the st st part. (I wish it said somewhere in there that if I was knitting in the round I didnt have to switch from knit to purl). My friends ended up liking it anyway and I ended up giving it to a guy friend! I will probably make another one of these pretty soon.

I'll soon be making more as well Smiley  My 15-year-old-only-wears-brand-names-sister thought the hat part was cute (she didn't like the ears or pom-poms) so now she wants me to make her one Grin  I also recently made here a duct tape bag and helped her stencil a sweatshirt.......hehehehe......I'm converting her Wink

cocinero & loisgriffinwannabe:  thanks for your nice comments!!  I used Caron's Simply Soft.

Your hat looks great! I just finished the same hat two days ago. I also used Simply Soft, but in a red color. I wish I could post it, but my camera's gone a little crazy today.

Rock on, Kittyville!

As requested, here's my hat! Same yarn, different color, no poms on the ties.
