Would this be suitable as a diaper bag? I need to make a baby shower gift, and thought this tote with a matching blanket might be cute. I am starting a purse size bag right now for myself. (It's only right that I make a practice bag before I make the actual gift!!!)

it would make a great diaper bag....just give yourself ample time to finish it though..the large one took me quite a while to complete!
it would be cute to give it with a matching blanket in it too!

I finished my purse-size tote last night. I like how it came out. The pattern was easy and it worked up pretty quickly. Now I better get started on the diaper bag version.
 
It actually looks nicer than the picture. Thanks for showing us this pattern.
