I agree with all of you, the book is a great idea and it's being put together by Gwen Steege who does good work. There is one already out there with a one skein theme, Oddball Knitting but it's a little bit of a letdown. Myself and my co-workers at Webs sort of feel like we're cheating because we're all using Valley Yarns which happen to come packaged REALLY generously.

Pharasaila, the color is Bright Taupe and there are actually some really good new colors (periwinkle, wine, sage, lilac, pink and others) that aren't up on the website yet. They are in the catalog if anyone gets that.

Here is another picture with less color distortion. I encourage all of you to give it a go on your own, it's really simple to figure out...the urge to post a pattern is REALLY bad, but I'd ruin the book chances if I did.

Gorgeous hat!  Everything I've seen of yours is awesome.  You do really great work and have a knack for doing a pattern that I might not think twice about.  The fiber, the colors, your choices are always right on.  Keep up the good work and keep on posting (you inspire me and many, I'm sure).
I, too, wish you the best with this pattern and can't wait to see it in a One Skein Project book!!!!!!  As hard as I try to be patient and knit larger projects, I need my instant gratification.
