I added new pics in a different post and deleted the pics here to conserve bandwidth. This project is so much fun.

I like it.  It should work really well if you even up the corners.  I'm trying to say this without sounding evil and condescending. Smiley

You don't even need anything complicated to do it.  The parts that are still plain glass, the corners, are heart-shaped.  They meet up and make those neato
four-leaf clover/flower shapes.  Get some normal old paper, cut out one heart from a square corner (so the flat sides of the heart are even), then just place the "stencil" you just made into each corner and either fill in or remove to make them match.  It's a cool design, very simple and pretty.

Good idea! I started out trying to use the brass thingie that attaches to a fan blade  Grin as a template but it didn't quite fit right..so I wiped it off and left it blank for a while. Then I sort of evened up the "hearts" and painted them with a real watered down green but the unevenness was really bothering me. Duh...why didn't I think to just make a heart template? Roll Eyes

Thanks!

I decided to wash it all off and start over. It's nowhere near aliastriona_angerboda's quality but I just love it. It looks tie dyed or something. Mostly it's just too much fun to DO. I know if I were single, I'd have every window in the house painted. LOL...perhaps seasonally. Fun stuff! I'm going to place the new pics here and delete the old ones, for Leah's sake.  Smiley
This is looking at it from outside. I like this best because it shows the white outline.

and from inside,a closeup. I used heart templates and just "pounced" around them with white paint, then filled in the spaces.
