Mundail are better than Fiskars but not as expenxive as Ginghers, I have a pair of my mom's that have lasted me a good 10 years (and that's saying something, I'm mean to scissors!)
If you decide to get a pair of the ones that spring open (they're easier on your hands than the traditional kind), make sure that you get a pair where the piece that holds them shut when you're not using them is on the end of the handles opposite the blades, not in the middle right under the blades- these ones have a tendency to catch after a few uses and drive you crazy.
Tonic has a nice pair with the closure on the end for a ggod price.
THIS ROCKS   Logged

To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.
