It's not my first, it's my second but it's the first one I'm actually proud of. The first one was just a plain black knitted one that was too short because I became impatient. This is also just knitted but I love the "kiss" yarn. It is so soft. My husband said that my cat thought I was knitting her a sister. hehe

Here we are:

I know it's just a simple thing but it's a big deal to me.   Cheesy

It's not "just" knitted - that scarf is really beautiful!
(Allthough maybe you meant "just knitted ... with garter stitch". That is about all you can do with eyelash yarn because fancy stitching doesn't show up well.)

Hope you don't have to tussle with the cat every time you want to wear it.

Hahaha I may have to. Goodness knows I had to fight her for the yarn before it was even a scarf.  Grin

And yeah....I did mean with garter stitch. Smiley and I will pretend that I did it that way BECAUSE its eyelash yarn and not because that's the only way I can do more than three rows without ripping it out.  Wink

you should make her a matching one! not that she'd wear it for very long, but it would be sooo cute! I am jealous of the pink-fuzziness.

That is gorgeous! great job. I made a boa with that same yarn (same colour too!) and I love it, its the softest yarn I have ever touched. You can look at it on my blog, a week or two ago I think!

Can't wait to see what you make next!

What I love is that your cat looks genuinely happy in it! I know from experience how much cats hate being dressed up, but Reagan looks really content!!

Ohhhh I love it. Just last night someone at church (choir practice) said mine looked like a boa. I was too impatient to wait until I bought a second skein to finish it off and wear it. lol I love the length of yours. I really like your blog, too.

I told my cat that she is a hit on Craftster. She is a diva. Actually, she was trying to eat the scarf and I said her name to get her to look up. lol

Ok...I have to tell you this. I paused to go tell hubby that I feel like a Craftster now because you guys commented on my post like you do to the people who make "real" stuff. He literally spit his coffee into his cup because that made him laugh. I guess I need to work on my crafting self-esteem. ahahahahahahha

You are too cute! I know exactly how you feel. I remember when I got responses to my first post, I was beaming with pride... anyhoot, I only used one skein for my boa, on 25mm needles... so it is very loose and airy. I think I only cast on like 25-30 sts, and knit like 10-15 rows! When I was casting off, I realized it super long width wise! You couldn't tell on the needle.

It was my 1st time using such big needles, and I didn't even realize I was making such a long item until it was finished!  Roll Eyes Funny huh?

That IS funny. Wow..I thought I was using big needles with 11s. I might have to try 25s.  Grin
