Here is the link (from knitty!)http://knitty.com/ISSUEsummer04/PATTlolita.html...although I changed the pattern  a bit because I did not want them to lace up the back (it encourages me NOT to binge on the cookies!)...I will post all mods to the pattern on my blog when I am all finished. Ladies, do yourselves (and your man) a favor and make yourself some. I promise he will have a new appreciation for knitting! Wink

AWynkoop, what brand of yarn are you using for those gorgeous things? I looked on Elann.com and they only had colors I don't want. If you are using the reccomended yarn, did you buy it online? Can you send me a link?

You are awesome.

I bought my yarn from WEBS *serious plug here WEBS is AWESOME! great selection, fabulous deals and super fast shipping*
and no I am not using the recommended yarn, but it has the same fiber content, weight, yards, gauge... I am using Cascade Fixation although it is a bit more expensive than the elann yarn it comes in 37 colors! Even though I am knitting fishnets, they are super warm and cozy!

okay.  it's time for me to come clean.  I've switched my olympic goal because my classes are going to kill me otherwise.  I'm gonna try and knit a cap, a panta for my Mum, and a helmetliner for some random soldier  Wink

I swear I'm not being lazy, if you don't believe me you can check my blog.  Tho, I'm not giving up on my Mum's sweater - just slowing down.

Here's my progress so far. Day 9's picture is... um.. not very different from day 8.. hence the balled up pile, so nobody can really tell.

I'm liking it.. and i think i'm right on schedule too!

I finished the hood! The merciless, unending hood! And boy, have I learned a lot about cables.

Only the sleeves to go! Let's see... two sleeves+ seaming + blocking+ a full work schedule + only one night free this week. In six days? This is gonna be a close call.

I'm almost done with mine.  I have about a row and half to go for the ribbing around the outside (it's about 250 stitches per row so it's taking me a little bit to do that).  I'm going to try to post a picture of the finished project.  I meant to post "in progress" pictures but I think I just didn't want to put it down to do that.  I'm worried that it's not going to be something I'll wear, but I've heard that the first sweater usually isn't something you end up wearing.
