Is anyone working on the Birch shawl from Rowan 34?

I just started a week ago and have made a lot of headway

This is my first big project with lace and while it was hard to get used to, I'm suprised how easy the pattern reapeats are.
And kidsilk haze is just fabulous to work with.

I'm using this carmel-y color.

So anyone for a knitalong?

Is that the current Rowan or an older one? (I've been a little broken and haven't been keeping up on them  Embarrassed )

As soon as I get through a few papers here with school I might have to duck out and get that one. That is exactly the type of pattern I have been looking for for my mom for mother's day (she's big into shawls)! So... okay if I join in a few days or so?  Smiley
