My gram made this scarf for me, but I wanted to post it to show it off!  The yarn reminds me of that confetti cupcake batter (mmm!)  And there's also some plaid-like ribbing and beads added as details too, to top it all off.

Here's me modeling the scarf:

What a fun creative scarf!  You nailed it perfectly--it's definitely confetti cupcakes!  I really like the beads at the ends, they're a cool detail I never would have thought of!
