Hi! Grin  This is a project that I did as a final project for my Native American Studies Art Workshop class.  It's a beaded medallion thingy.  I am not sure what I am going to do with it but I think it came out nice.  It took a super long time and I am so glad that I finished it!!

Thanks everyone!  Yeah I have been working on it for like 3 weeks!  Unfortunatly the class is for pass/not pass!  So no letter grade for that class.  It is not really that hard just time consumeing.  We used canvas and one of those embroiderie hoops.  I just drew the pattern on and just basically sewd the beads on (i usually did a few at a time and then went back and did a few stiches to hold the beads down).

i had to comment on this- esp. since i'm a halfbreed native lady, my mom does traditional N.A. art all the time, and yours looks pretty great!! i always try to work with my mom to pick up the trade but it is very intense work! comgrats on finishing it! (i never can!) Smiley

that is gorgeous. congrats. not sure what you should do with it. aside from framing it in a shadowbox. that way it would be safe and not get hurt. Smiley
